Building Environmental Control

We take environmental control very seriously, even in our low cost housing, being inside a building which reacts to internal and external temperature and moisture conditions, not only makes it more comfortable, but also healthier.

It also means the building lasts longer.

Our system reacts to the inside and outside environments, by regulating temperature, vapor and moisture.

Temperature
The temperature is regulated with insulation, you might initially think that insulation is only used for keeping things warm, but insulation is also used for keeping temperatures cooler (your refrigerator uses insulation). This section covers where we source our insulation and details the specifications and datasheets.

Vapor / Moisture
Vapor and moisture are regulated using different layers of materials, to allow vapor and moisture to leave the building, but not let rain in. We use rubber gaskets to make sure the walls are water tight and different papers to control moisture. This section covers where we source our material components and details the specifications and datasheets.
